(b) Pursuant to ~eAct 01 June 25,1947 (61 Stat.

181), the United states and the District entered into that

certain contract dated June 11, 1948, desi~nated Symbol Ilr-1536,

amended August 21, 1957, November 14, 19641, and October 23,

1968, No. 14-06-400-668 for the constructipn of the paonia

Project, Colorado, and for the repayment tp the United States by

the District of part of the construction a~d operation and

maintenance costs of that project, which c9ntracts are

hereinafter called the Government-District;contract; and

(c) Pursuant to the Government-District contract

there was established within the District~wo irrigation blocks

described therein and named the Fire Mountain Irrigation Block

and the Leroux Creek Irrigation Block, and ,the reimbursable

project costs were allocated to each irrig~tionblock; and

Reservoir Company the perpetual right of us~ of 8,100 acre-feet

of Paonia Project storage water, or its equ~valent, and such

additional water as from year to year may b~ made available to
