Year 2000 county unit demand rates were used from 1950 forward to estimate municipal water
<br />demands for non-key municipalities and unincorporated areas. The municipality and
<br />unincorporated population in each county was multiplied by its respective county unit demand
<br />rates, and then summarized by water district. The population and demand rate data used herein is
<br />reported by county. Water demands in the SPDSS Surface Water Model will be represented by
<br />water district; therefore demands and consumptive use by county are not presented. Annual
<br />demands for key municipalities and water districts are shown in Table 2. Some water districts
<br />have been combined because the surface water model will consider the effect of these demands
<br />at the same point on the river.
