StateCU has been developed to be used in
conjunction with TSTooI, StateDMI, and HydroBase. Therefore, it is not necessary to add
features such as creating a model area or importing climate data directly to StateCU, which can
be accomplished using StateDMI and TSTooI, respectively.
Other useful features in IDSCU that are not currently available in StateCU have already been
scoped under the SPDSS Phase 3 StateCU Enhancements. These include the following:
• Adding a simplified report generator through the GUI that will make it easier to
display model input and results and to compare different CU analyses,
• Enhancing graphical capabilities through the GUI,
• Adding cut and paste capabilities to the GUI to allow input and output data to be
easily transferred to and from outside files,
• Adding the ASCE Standardized Penman-Monteith daily method to the GUI,
• Simplifying the method used to specify the ET method used in each analysis, and
Task 62.doc 3 of 4
