<br />same stream reaches, due to the different purposes of the studies and the different hydrologic <br />assumptions selected to achieve those different purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are no differences in hydraulic assumptions between the detailed floodplain <br />information contained in said report dated September 30, 1988, for the streams listed in Table 2, and <br />the detailed floodplain information contained in Resolution No. 270, but there are the above-stated <br />differences in hydrologic assumptions (existing basin conditions as opposed to future basin <br />conditions); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are no differences in hydraulic assumptions between the detailed floodplain <br />information contained in said report dated S,:::ptember 30, 1988, for the streams listed in Table 2, and <br />the detailed floodplain information contained in Resolutions Nos. 292 and 300, with the exception of <br />specific differences due to consideration of detention by certain road embankments that are explicitly <br />described in said resolutions, but there are the above-stated differences in hydrologic assumptions <br />(existing basin conditions as opposed to future basin conditions); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Westminster utilizes both sets of detailed floodplain information, for <br />their separate purposes, is fully aware of the differences between the two types of hydrologic analyses <br />and wishes to continue using both sets of floodplain information for their separate purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate floodplain information contained in said report for Little Dry <br />Creek and Shaw Heights Tributary is inconsistent with the floodplain information contained in <br />Resolution No.2 (previously rescinded); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate floodplain information contained in said report for Little Dry <br />Creek and Shaw Heights Tributary is consistent with the detailed floodplain information contained in <br />Resolution No. 123; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the approximate floodplain irrlormation contained in said report for Ketner Creek <br />is consistent with the detailed floodplain information contained in the undesignated report entitled <br />"Mastel' Plan - Major Drainageway Planning, City of Westminster, Colorado, Adams & Jefferson <br />County, Volumes I and IT', dated November 1973; and <br /> <br />Local Request for Designation <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Westminster has requested the Colorado Water Conservation Board to <br />designate and approve the detailed floodplain infoTIllation contained in said report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Westminster has not requested that the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board rescind the detailed floodplain information contained in Resolution No. 270, Resolution No. 292 <br />or Resolution No.300; and <br /> <br />4 <br />
