Scope of Work <br />Upper Mountain Counties Water Needs Assessments <br />on the use of t11e lots such as permanent residences, second home residences, or <br />comnlercial demands. To the extent possible, t11e GIS's for each cowlty will be used to <br />assist in this task. <br />1.3 Quaritify uriplatted private propert~ in ec~cli courrt~ <br />T11e cowlties will be interviewed to identify unplatted private property in eac11 county <br />and fl1e zoning for fllese areas so that a water denland can be projected for these lands <br />at different levels of build out. To the extent possible, the GIS's for each county will be <br />used to assist in this task. <br />Tc~sk 1 Assunaptiovis <br />^ One meeting with each Cotulty to gather information. <br />^ GIS data provided by the counties will be of sufficient quality to complete Task 1. <br />^ Upper Mow~tauz Counties assistance uz setting up the nleetuzg with each cow~ty to <br />inake sure the appropriate county representatives attend the nleeting to avoid <br />follow-up nleetings. <br />^ If Park County does not have GIS data for the study area, then sinlplifyuzg <br />assunlptions based on fl~e nunlber of platted lots acquired from plat nlaps may <br />have to be made and the work effort increased with more staff time. <br />Task 1 Deliverables <br />^ Population estinlates for current and 2050 conditions for permanent, senu- <br />pernlanent, and transitory populations. <br />^ The nunlber of platted lots and type of zoning for fllem will be provided along wifll <br />any GIS mapping of these lots. <br />^ The unplatted private property will be identified, related zoning, and GIS mapping <br />of these areas provided. <br />Task 2 Interview water providers for information on current and projected <br />water demands <br />2.1 Deterw~iirie iriforrraation availa~ile fro~i towns arid wateY provic~ers <br />Since towns and water providers have infornlation on water demands related to a <br />central water delivery system and not areas relying on individual on-lot wells, tllese <br />eiltities nlust be surveyed to deternline if tlley have infornlation on current and <br />projected water denlands to tlle year 2050 ulcluding tllose related to recreation and <br />tourisnl. The cotuzties can assist in identifyulg t11e towns and water providers witllul <br />tlleir individual counties t11at need to be surveyed. T11ese water providers will be <br />surveyed to deterniine if they have a water conservation plan filed with the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board's Office of Water Conservation.
