divided into several parts. These parts are: the basic data reduction
to usable forms, the analysis of individual measurements, the integration
of individual results, and the evaluation of these integrated analyses
regarding the various physical aspects of the cloud seeding project.

To provide a basi~ view of the meteorological systems occurring
during February and March, 1981, the continuous-type measurements are
displayed in graphical form in Appendix c. On these graphs are shown
outputs as a function of time for each day of :>bservation (other than
mostly c loud less days) from the Ka and X-band radars, the radiometric
LWC, and precipitation from a location (Mahogany Cove) well up the
western slope of the Tushar Mountains. These graphical displays should
aid In understanding the nature of the various analyses made in the
study. Other information such as seeding logs of NAWC for the generators
in the vicinity of the Tushar Mountains are listed in Appendix B.

A brief summary of the various analyses and evaluations presented
in this report is as follows:

A. Ice nuclei dispersal
assessment of inversion occurrences
ice nuclei observed at a mountain location
ice nuclei dispersal into clouds
analysis of silver in snow samples

B. Distribution of supercooled liquid water
temporAl distribution
spatial distribution
horizontal, vertical
relationship to meteorological conditions
cloud top temperature, airflow, precipitation
seeding effects

c. Precipitation growth and trajectories
temporal and spatial distribution
relationship to meteorological conditions
analysis of radar and airborne data
seeding effects
precipitation formation
precipitation trajectories

1.2.3 Historical data evaluation.
