<br />Since snowfall is recorded at most sites only once a day in the early <br />evening, storms that beg in in one time period and end in another are <br />considered to be distinct events occurring on concurrent days. On the <br />other hand, when two distinct storms occur in the same 24-hour recording <br />period, they are considered to be a single event. The effects of these <br />assumptions on removal costs are not known but assumed to be negligible. <br /> <br />-10- <br />
