<br />Page 39 <br /> <br />on a given day, the Bureau site coordinator will select the <br />highest priority mission type possible. The priorities for <br />missions are as follows: <br /> <br />1. Cloud physics and wind field mapping investigations in actual <br />storm conditions which also incorporate tracer diffusion <br />studies (either ground or airborne tracer releases). <br /> <br />2. Cloud physics and wind field mapping investigations in actual <br />storm conditions without tracer studies. <br /> <br />3. Tracer diffusion studies and wind mapping in overcast or <br />near-storm conditions. <br /> <br />4. Wind field mapping in overcast or near-storm. <br /> <br />5. Clear weather tracer and wind field mapping studies. <br /> <br />The Bureau site coordinator will routinely fly as the aircraft <br />scientist onboard the University of Wyoming King Air. He~ will <br />insure that the flight profiles and intended standardized <br />procedures are followed as closely as possible, and will direct <br />each mission so as to obtain the best data set possible given the <br />circumstances encountered. For each flight NAWC will provide a <br />trained person to operate both the SF6 detector and the data <br />acquisition system onboard the aircraft. NAWC will additionally <br />
