<br />7.2 Target-Control Relationships <br /> <br />The fIrst target-control analysis used all 12 target sites and all 14 control sites listed in table <br />2. A disappointingly low R-value of 0.873 resulted as shown on figure 9. As a consequence <br />of the variability, the target-control relationship has mediocre predictability. Even though <br />the 1993 data point is 28.8 percent (4.2 inches SWE) higher than predicted by the regression <br />line, it is below 2 standard errors of estimate.
