It will be the responsibility of MRI to insure <br />that the M-33 radar is functioning properly prior to the start of the <br />field program, and to maintain and service the radar during the field <br />program. <br />6.5 Aircraft <br />Each organization that owns or operates an airplane will have the <br />responsibility to see that all appropriate equipment is installed and <br />operating properly prior to the field program, and for the maintenance <br />of the equipment and the aircraft during the field program. Specifically, <br />the Colorado International Corporation will be responsible for the Lear Jet, <br />CRMWD for the Aztec and the turbo-charged Navajo, and MRI for the Navajo <br />cloud physics airplane. <br />6. 6 Forecas ts <br />The Texas Department of Water Resources will be responsible for the <br />development of methods required for making operational forecasts, and for <br />planning the briefing and debriefing sessions. The operational forecasts <br />will include, but not be limited to, the mesoscale and Texas HIPLEX fore- <br />casts, now-forecasts, and the 24-hr outlook forecasts. <br /> <br />18 <br />
