This report provides thermodynamic analyses of temperature.
dewpoint. and wind velocity on skew T-Iog P diagrams of all HIPLEX
soundings observed in Miles City, Montana and Big Spring, Texas.
during 1979, Background references are also provided which document
the procedures used to qual i ty control and check rawinsondes entered
in the Service's (Water and Power Resources Service) EON
(Environmental Data Network), This report is intended to provide a
comprehensive reference to all Service soundings archived in the EON
for the HIPLEX field season, The skew T plots are directly derived
from the EON mandatory and significant level data, Wind vectors are
plotted at al I mandatory levels.
