Mr, Curt Hartzell [1] <br />directed the rawinsonde observations in Miles City, Montana. Dr. <br />James Scoggins [2] directed the mesoscale rawinsonde observations at <br />the Big Spring, Texas site. Software to check and process contact <br />point raob data was developed by Messrs, Francis Politte, Douglas <br />Hale, and Donald Rottner [3], Software to plot the skew T analyses <br />was obtained from the National Center for Atmospheric Research and <br />modified to operate with Service plotting software by David A. <br />Matthews.
