This
program is routinely run on all HIPLEX soundings at the end of each
season and the results are available on microfiche,

-
PRAOB is a program which provides a predicted sounding based on
the current sounding and the LFM (Limi ted Fine-mesh Model) forecast
of upper level temperature and dewpoint, This program creates a
sounding in the standard EDN format which may be processed by any
other EDN software. An example of sounding changes predicted by this
program is shown in figure 3.

a:
CL..
::..::

W
Q:
=>
(f')
(f')
W
Q:
( CL..

10

-70

-so -40

LEGE:NO

RAoe MA 79071715

RAoe MA 79071715

RAOB MAX 79071718

RAOB MAX 79071718

RAOB MAX 79071721

RAOB MAX 79071721

RAOB MAX 79071721

RAOB MAX 79071721

40

Figure 3.
