Fault {Seismicity} Trenches <br /> <br />Fault trenches, if required, will be restored in <br />a similar fashion to that described for core drill sites. <br />Excavated material used for backfill will be compacted <br />by the backhoe to minimize settlement of the trench. <br /> <br />G. Surveys and Mapping <br /> <br />All photo control panels will be removed soon after <br />the aerial photography is performed. All lath, flagging, <br />etc. will be removed. The only items left at the site will <br />be the baseline reference points at 100 foot stationing, <br />which would be short two inch square wooded stakes driven <br />flush with the ground, and the concrete and steel monuments <br />at the end of each baseline. <br /> <br />SCHEDULE FOR WORK PL&~ <br /> <br />Exhibit D shows the proposed activity schedule during <br />the Preliminary Permit period. It is based on completing <br />the necessary field, geological,survey, and environmental <br />assessment activities in the first two years, and consoli- <br />dating data and preparing the license application and En- <br />viroTh~ental Impact Statement during the last year. <br /> <br />This schedule starts on receipt of the Preliminary <br />Permit from FERC. <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-16- <br />
