If the currently estimated yield potentials, <br />costs, and minimal environmental impacts are verified, <br />it is anticipated that weather modification will be one <br />of the major attractive alternatives to complement <br />other means in resolving water problems associated with <br />the Colorado River. <br /> <br />The proposed demonstration project is seen as the <br />necessary step between the pilot project now being <br />completed and the decisions concerning whether or not <br />to undertake a fully operational seeding program in the <br />Colorado River Basin. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2 <br />
