Management and Contracted Efforts. - Functions <br /> <br /> <br />performed at the central control site would include <br /> <br /> <br />the specialized weather forecasting, seeding decisions <br /> <br /> <br />and control, cooperation with the reservoir operations <br /> <br /> <br />and local and state groups, and coordination of <br /> <br /> <br />contractor field activities. Present CRSP personnel <br /> <br /> <br />would continue the operation and maintenance of the <br /> <br /> <br />microwave, radio, and computer systems which provide <br /> <br />the "backbone" of the demonstration project. <br /> <br />:t, <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Although the demonstration program is proposed to be <br />managed by the Bureau, in coordination with local and <br />state groups, the majority of the work will be <br />performed by contractor groups. Major areas of <br />contracted work planned are: <br /> <br />(a) Detailed design <br />(b) Equipment procurement and installation <br />(c) Field seeding activities and data collection <br />(d) Environmental and other associated studies <br />(e) Cloud physics research <br />(f) Evaluations <br /> <br />:;J <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />26 <br />
