An Aero commander 690A twi n turboprop-engi ne ai rcraft

will be utilized f,'om January 2 through April 1 to
include the following tasks, all to be flown over the

Grand Mesa:

1. tracking of AgI released from ground generators or

aircraft,

2. investigation of the horizontal wind patterns above

the windward slopes of the Mesa and the Mesa top,

3. investigation of both natural and seeded clouds

for microphysical changes.

The mission types will hereafter be referred to as plume

tracing, airflow studies, and cloud studies,

respectively.
