The Plan <br />will meet the requirements for Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) Water <br />Conservation Grants, and will reference the recommendations outlined in the CWCB's <br />Water Conservation Plan Development Guidance Document. <br /> <br />This 95% Completion Report fulfills a CWCB Conservation Plan grant requirement. <br />A summary of the status for each of the sections of the report outlined in CWCB's <br />Water Conservation Plan Development Guidance Document, as well as the Public <br />Outreach effort, is provided below. This draft Plan is currently undergoing the 30- <br />day public review process. Once public comments are received, considered, and <br />incorporated into the Plan as appropriate, the Plan will be submitted to CWCB. <br /> <br />This report describes the main activities associated with the development of the Plan <br />as well as the public outreach effort. A copy of the 95% completed Conservation Plan <br />draft is attached as Attachment A. <br /> <br />Develop Water Conservation Plan <br /> <br />Data and information on Erie relevant to the Plan were provided to Erie's consultant, <br />CDM, through a meeting held in Erie and frequent correspondence by telephone and <br />email. As previously mentioned, a copy of the 95% completed Conservation Plan <br />draft is attached as Attachment A. It is important to note that this is a working draft <br />of the Conservation Plan. Modifications are anticipated prior to submission of the <br />final document. <br /> <br />Profile the Existing System <br />A draft description of the physical characteristics of the existing water supply system <br />was developed. Information specific to this subtasl( includes land use, population, <br />historical water demands, water supplies, and other general characteristics of Erie's <br />service area. Information specific to system limitations, the billing system, as well as <br />water restrictions, planning initiatives, and existing water conservation activities are <br />also provided. <br />
