Dear Ms. Petrone,

The City of Greeley is always looking for effective means of providing high quality water education to
citizens of all ages while also meeting the requirements of the City's Colorado Stonnwater Discharge
Permit. It is for this reason that we strongly support the Colorado Watershed Network's proposal for
funding to support Project WET in Colorado and provide water education materials and trainin.g to Colorado
educators.

The City of Greeley is committed to providing first rate water education and will be partnering with, Project
WET and the Colorado W'atershed Network to offer trainings for Greeley teachers. We commit to providing
$5,000 in matching funds to sponsor a Project WET workshop in the summer of 2008 for teachers in our
conununity. We will work with the Project WET Coordinator to schedule field trips and guest speakers to
augment the workshop and pro'vide teachers with an in-depth understanding of water in the City of Greeley.

This sponsored Project WET workshop is a good fit with, and serves to enhance, our c.urrent water
education program. This Project \VET workshop will help the City of Greeley m,eet our stormwater permit
education requirements and water conservation education goals..

Water education is critical for the youth and adults of our community. Please support this important
education program in Colorado. We look forward to partnering with Project VIET and the Colorado
Watershed Network to benefit the teachers and, students in the Greeley area.
