The Project WErr coordinator works closely with our Project <br />WILD staff and we hope to continue sharing resources and staff in our joint efforts to educ.ate Colorado school <br />children through teacher training workshops about our state's natural resources~ We provide joint trainings for <br />our shared network of facilitators and Inaintain a database of educators that participate in the training~ Our six <br />regional education coordinators provide local support for Project WET workshop giving assistance \\lith logistics <br />and materials distribution. <br /> <br />In order to insure that the highest quality water education information, training, and rnaterials reach teachers, we <br />recolnmend that you continue to fund the Colorado Watershed Network's ProjectWEf'f Prograln. We cotnmit to <br />providing over $40,000 in matching funds and in-kind match for Facilitator Conference coordination, tracking <br />participants and progralDs through our database, regional assistance for workshops and training froIn our regional <br />education coordinators, and a forum to advertise workshops and provided information through our Colorado <br />Connections newsletter. <br /> <br />In this past year it has been invigorating to our Project WILD program to have a strong partner capable of sharing <br />in the expenses and hard \vork that goes into a successful outreach program.
