<br />Attending: Doug Shriver, Jim Rhett, Lewis H. Entz, Ray Wright, Mike Gibson,
<br />Nicole Langley, Tony Aloia, Cindy Medina, Erin Minks, Ed Nielsen, Jeremy Yoh, Mel
<br />Getz, Allen Brown, Mike Willett, Don Thompson, Steve Russell, Norm Crawford,
<br />Richard Luckameier, Perry Cabon, Judy Lopez, Art Hutchinson, Leon Moyer, Fred

<br />1. Introductions: Chairman Mike Gibson welcomed all.
<br />2. Approval of Minutes from February 12, 2008 Meeting. Ed Nielson moved, seconded
<br />by Cindy Medina, unanimously carried.
<br />3. Reappointment of Members. Membership list as of March 11, 2008 was distributed
<br />indicating attendance and non attendance of members, terms, and those for whom
<br />membership needs to be renewed, entities for whom members need to be
<br />appointed, new members, and empty chairs to be filled by at-large or other
<br />representatives. To summarize:
<br />Conejos County; Conejos municipality; Costilla County; Costilla Water Conservancy
<br />District; Saguache County; Saguache municipality
<br />Cindy Medina offered to make contacts and see who might step forward in Costilla,
<br />Conejos, and Saguache Counties.
<br />Mike suggested Lewis Entz as at-large Agricultural Representative and Judy Lopez
<br />to come on as a new member and as at-large educational representative. Cindy
<br />Medina was welcomed as at-large representative from Alamosa Riverkeepers. J.B.
<br />Alexander moved and Allen Brown seconded motion to approve. Unanimous
<br />approval.
<br />Melvin Getz said he wanted to resign as a member and as the representative for
<br />industrial interests, in order to spend more time with his family and with other
<br />endeavors. Mike Gibson did his best to talk him into staying. Mel gave an inspiring
<br />farewell talk which was met with applause from all. Mike recognized Mel and
<br />thanked him for his tremendous contributions to the Roundtable and to the San Luis
<br />Valley, and asked that Mel convey the Roundtable's appreciation to Camille for her
<br />contribution to the Valley. Acceptance of Mel's resignation.
<br />Mike asked Ted Smith, Aquaculture at TSJC, if he might consider taking the at-large
<br />position representing industrial interests. Fred Bauder suggested we wait. Mike
