3. Place signing at very high and high risk waters based on the risk assessment. <br />Pueblo State Fish Hatcherv <br />Hold any fish destined for stocking in separate raceways that are on well-water <br />for two weeks. The raceway water and fish will be treated with Potassium <br />Chloride at concentrations known to be lethal to mussel veligers and adults during <br />this time. Additionally, when the fish are loaded into the hauling tank (filled with <br />well-water) on the stocking truck, the tank water and fish will receive an <br />additional treatment with Formalin at concentrations known to be lethal to mussel <br />veligers and adults. The fish may then be safely transported to other waters for <br />stocking. <br />2. The CDOW and USFW5 should conduct a risk assessment analysis for their <br />hatchery units and recommend actions to preventlcontrol and/or eradicate mussel <br />infestation. <br />11 <br />
