Dear Ms. Petrone,

The City of Loveland recognizes the importance of providing high quality water education to
citizens of all ages. It is for this reason that we strongly support the Colorado Watershed
Network's proposal for funding to support Project WET in Colorado and provide water education
materials and training to Colorado educators.

The City of Loveland is committed to providing first rate water education for its teachers this year.
We will be partnering with Project WET and the Colorado Watershed Network to offer trainings
have committed to providing $5,000 in matching funds to sponsor a Project WET workshop in the
summer of 2008 for teachers in our community. We will work with the Project WET Coordinator
to schedule field trips and guest speakers to augment the workshop and provide teachers with an
in-depth understanding of water in the City of Loveland.
This sponsored Project WET workshop is a good fit with, and serves to enhance, our current water
education program. This Project WET workshop will also help the City of Loveland meet its
stormwater permit education requirements and water conservation education goals.
Water education is critical for the youth and adults of our community. Please support this
important education program in Colorado. We look forward to partnering with Project WET and
the Colorado Watershed Network to benefit the teachers and students in the City of Loveland.
