Application for Water Efficiency Grant Program: Colorado Watershed Network <br />states to address western water issues and trends in water education. <br />Coordinator will represent Colorado annually at national Project WET <br />Conferences. <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 8,800 (200 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) - <br />Coordinator <br />CWN Match: $ 2,200 (20% of hourly rate) <br />B. Collaborate with Sister Project Coordinators- Actively participate in the <br />effective and long-standing partnership between Colorado's Project WET, <br />Project WILD, Project Learning Tree, and Project Food, Land & People <br />programs. Project WET facilitators are also trained as facilitators for Projects <br />WILD and Learning Tree. This partnership provides facilitators with a <br />convenient joint training workshop and leadership conference. Part of this task <br />will be regular communication with sister project coordinators including <br />monthly meetings and weekly conference calls. <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 14,960 (340 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) - <br />Coordinator <br />CWN Match: $ 3,740 (20% of hourly rate) <br />CDQW Match: $ 17,000 (309 hours @ $55/hr)-6 regional <br />CDOW employees help facilitators with <br />Project WET trainings (3 hrs/month/CDOW <br />employee). <br />C. Tracking- Partner with CDOW in participant/facilitator tracking using <br />CDOW's new database and regional coordinators assistance. Submit monthly <br />data from Project WET workshop evaluation forms. This task will be ongoing <br />throughout the duration of the grant period. <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 2,024 (46 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate}- <br />provide data for database and assessing <br />information -Coordinator <br />CWN Match: $ SOG (20% of hourly rate} <br />CD4W Match: $ 5,100 (93 hours @ $55/hr)-maintenance of <br />database for Projects WET, WILD, and <br />Learning Tree. This includes the time it <br />takes to manage the Project WET <br />component of the database. <br />D. Pre-service teacher coordination- Provide support for professors and faculty <br />members at participating institutions of higher learning to incorporate Project <br />WET into their pre-service teacher training programs. Coordinator and <br />Specialist will recruit education faculty members as Project WET facilitators <br />and support their inclusion of Project WET curriculum in pre-service teacher <br />studies and training efforts. Coordinator will maintain communications with <br />the University of Northern Colorado faculty members who serve as liaisons <br />with other colleges and universities with pre-service education programs. <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 8,800 (200 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) - <br />Coordinator and Specialist <br />Page 8 <br />
