Application for Water Efficiency Grant Program: Colorado Watershed Network
states to address western water issues and trends in water education.
Coordinator will represent Colorado annually at national Project WET
Conferences.
CWCB Grant Funds: $ 8,800 (200 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) -

CWN Match: $ 2,200 (20% of hourly rate)
B. Collaborate with Sister Project Coordinators- Actively participate in the
effective and long-standing partnership between Colorado's Project WET,
Project WILD, Project Learning Tree, and Project Food, Land & People
programs. Project WET facilitators are also trained as facilitators for Projects
WILD and Learning Tree. This partnership provides facilitators with a
convenient joint training workshop and leadership conference. Part of this task
will be regular communication with sister project coordinators including
monthly meetings and weekly conference calls.
CWCB Grant Funds: $ 14,960 (340 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate) -

CWN Match: $ 3,740 (20% of hourly rate)
CDQW Match: $ 17,000 (309 hours @ $55/hr)-6 regional
CDOW employees help facilitators with
Project WET trainings (3 hrs/month/CDOW
employee).
C. Tracking- Partner with CDOW in participant/facilitator tracking using
CDOW's new database and regional coordinators assistance. Submit monthly
data from Project WET workshop evaluation forms. This task will be ongoing
throughout the duration of the grant period.
CWCB Grant Funds: $ 2,024 (46 hours @ 80% of $55/hr rate}-
provide data for database and assessing
information -Coordinator
CWN Match: $ SOG (20% of hourly rate}
CD4W Match: $ 5,100 (93 hours @ $55/hr)-maintenance of
database for Projects WET, WILD, and
Learning Tree. This includes the time it
takes to manage the Project WET
component of the database.
D. Pre-service teacher coordination- Provide support for professors and faculty
members at participating institutions of higher learning to incorporate Project
WET into their pre-service teacher training programs. Coordinator and
Specialist will recruit education faculty members as Project WET facilitators
and support their inclusion of Project WET curriculum in pre-service teacher
studies and training efforts. Coordinator will maintain communications with
the University of Northern Colorado faculty members who serve as liaisons
with other colleges and universities with pre-service education programs.
