<br />Tailwater numbers have been estimated using the cropping pattern for each year and the average
<br />tail water percentage from a USBR/IID tail water study completed in the mid-1980s. These
<br />numbers assume that tailwater percentages have remained fairly constant over time. Over the
<br />eight year period, estimated tailwater has averaged 16.8 percent of the total volume of water
<br />delivered for agricultural use.

<br />IILC.2 Current Municipal and Industrial Water Use
<br />The IID provides wholesale water service to seven incorporated and three unincorporated cities
<br />within the Imperial Valley. Each city diverts water from IID's canal system to its treatment
<br />facility prior to distribution for municipal uses. The annual water deliveries and populations of
