<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Willows <br /> <br /> <br />Water District that: <br /> <br /> <br />I. In accordance with section 2.12 of its water service agreenlentswithDenver <br /> <br />Water, the District will assist Denver Water in implem.enting the Tap-Smart Plan. <br /> <br />2. The methods set forth in section 2. I 2 of its water service agreements with Denver <br /> <br />Water to assist Denver Water in implementing the COllservation Master Plan, as amended and <br /> <br /> <br />updated, and those portions of the Tap-Smart Plan applicable to the District are hereby adopted <br /> <br /> <br />and will be implemented as the District's conservation plan under section 37-60-126(2)( a) to <br /> <br /> <br />encourage its domestic, commercial, industrial, an.d public facility customers to use wa~er more <br /> <br />efficiently. <br /> <br />3. In addition to the conservation measures offered by Denver Water to customers of <br /> <br />the District described ill the Tap-Smart Plan, the District will match design costs, up to $10,000, <br /> <br />paid by Denver Water to irrigation customers in the District pursuant to Denver Water's <br /> <br /> <br />Irrigation, Efficiency-Demand Side M~lagement Program and will pay irrigation custOmers in <br /> <br /> <br />the Distri~t fifty percent (500/0) of the amount paid by Denver Water for each. acre-foot of water <br /> <br /> <br />savings, not to exceed $2~250per acre-foot of water savings, pursuant to an Irrigation Efficiency- <br /> <br /> <br />Demand Side Management Agreement between Denver Water and Willows' irrigation <br /> <br />customers. <br /> <br />4~ Payments for matching design, costs and for each acre-foot of water savings ill <br /> <br /> <br />accordance with paragraph 3 of this resolution will <?nly be made purs.uant to an agree~ent <br /> <br /> <br />bet\veen the District and irrigation customers in the District, and the District's:participation in the <br /> <br />3 <br />
