If the Contracting Entity is different then the App licant (Project Sponsor or Owner) please describe the <br />Contracting Entity here. <br />GARNA (described above) will be the Contracting Entity and Recreation Engineering and Planning <br />(REP) will be the vendor coordinating all engineering studies. REP has been the trend setter in <br />W h itewater Parks for over 30 years and has created 90% of all of the in-stream whitewater parks in the <br />United States. These parks include the Salida and Buena Vista W h itewater Parks, the Reno W h itewater <br />Park, the Vail W h itewater Park, and the Golden W h itewater Park. <br />REP has also pioneered several in-stream design and restoration technologies. Am ong them are low- <br />head-dam re-design projects that allow dangerous and im passable dam s to provide safe passage, <br />recreation, and help to restore the river' s natural m o rphology in a way that allows fish to pass upstream <br />for a healthy and robust in-stream and riparian zone environm ent.
