The cost estimate is assumed to be 100/0 of the design-build bid.
2) The Bureau of Reclamation is processing a request from the LPWWA to waive all
administrative and land use fees for the project. Fees will be charged by the
consultant for writing the Environmental Assessment and assisting with the permitting
process. It is noted that the water treatment plant and associated infrastructure will
be permitted concurrently with the intake structure; however these facilities will not be
built in this stage of the project.
3) Funding fees are for the consultant and attorney and are specific to grant applications.
4) Project development fees, in general, include project development and work done by
the attorney and consultant over the next year and a half.
5) Intake Structure Construction will require more funds than allotted by this grant. Other
funding sources, including participating parties, are being pursued. Cost estimates in
this budget are from preliminary design proposals; a detailed cost estimate for the
construction of the project will be available mid-March. The cost estimate is assumed
to be 900/0 of the design-build bid.

If awarded, the $1 ,000,000 grant may be used for all of the tasks, as funds allow.

LPWW A - Scope of Work, Timeline, Budget, Deliverables, Personnel
WSRA Statewide Grant Application

2/27/2008
Page 15
