<br />Scope of Work <br /> <br />Please summarize the proposed scope of work Please refer to Part 2 of the Criteria and Guidance document <br />for detailed requirements. On the following page there is an example format for the Scope ofW ork You can <br />use the example format or your own format, provided that comparable information is included. <br /> <br />The scope of work should outline by task how the water activity will be accomplished. It is important that the <br />scope of work detail the specific steps, activities/procedures that will be followed to accomplish the water <br />activity and the specific products/deliverables that will be accomplished. The scope of work should include <br />but not be limited to: task description, key personnel, budget, schedule and deliverables and the final <br />report/project documentation upon completion of the water activity. <br /> <br />The scope of work will form the basis for the contract between the Applicant and the State of Colorado. In <br />short, the Applicant is agreeing to undertake the work for the compensation outlined in the scope of work and <br />budget, and in return, the State of Colorado is receiving the deliverables/products specified. Summarized <br />below is a suggested format for the Scope ofW ork <br /> <br />I. Tasks <br /> <br />Description of tasks: <br /> <br />The overall GOCO Legacy Grant funds the acquisition of six conservation easements over three years. The <br />WSRA matching funds are targeted for use on four of these projects. The tasks involved in completing each <br />conservation easement are as follows: <br /> <br />Implementation of voluntary conservation easements on four key parcels on the Rio Grande corridor <br />including: <br /> <br />1) Negotiations with landowners as to terms and conditions of conservation easement <br /> <br />2) Perform all due diligence as required by law and according to the funding sources (such as GOCO, <br />CDOW, etc.) including: <br />. Obtain appraisal by qualified appraiser (Note: Documentation of the costs via a valid, independent <br />appraisal of the value ofthe conservation easement, documentation of "fair market value", a full <br />legal description and maps of the properties will be provided to the CWCB as the steps of the due <br />diligence process are completed. <br />. Complete title work <br />. Identify mineral ownership and if necessary, obtain mineral remoteness letter from qualified geologist <br />. Identify water rights for inclusion in deed <br />. Obtain approval of Ditch Company Board of Directors (if applicable) <br />. Surveys as needed (to determine boundaries, building envelope- if applicable, etc.) <br />. Phase I Environmental Site Assessment <br />. Baseline Condition Report <br />. Develop and negotiate Deed of Conservation Easement language with legal counsel for all parties <br />. Develop management plan <br />.
