<br />SECTION 4. - SATELLITE <br /> <br />The satellite data available for the 1984-85 CRADP winter activities cover <br />the entire Colorado River area. The majority of the laserfax imagery <br />recei ved was from sector SB3. Two types of imagery are avail ab 1 e: (1) <br />visible photographic and (2) IR (infrared photographic). The visible ima- <br />gery has a 1.9-km (l-nmi) resolution in the KB sector and the IR imagery <br />has a 9-km (4.85-nmi) resolution. The photographs are black and white <br />prints with gray scale shading and include outlines of state borders. <br /> <br />Laserfax imagery was collected from November 30, 1984 to April 30, 1985. <br />Visible and IR data were collected at alternating half hour intervals from <br />each satellite during the daytime and only IR was collected at night. <br />Usually two pictures per hour ~~re received. <br /> <br />No detailed list of photographs is provided. Nearly all possible pho- <br />tographs were obtained. They al~e on file at Montrose, Colorado. <br /> <br />4-1 <br />
