<br />The program also depended on the Bureau of Reclamation personnel <br />stationed at the National Severe Storms Laboratory at Norman: <br />Mr. Lloyd Stuebinger, Mr. Girardo, and Mr. 'relfer, and their <br /> <br />assistants. We had extensive communications with each of them. <br />The overall NSSL facilities were essential to the conduct of the program, <br />expecially the radar system and forecasting facility. We extend our <br />appreciation to Dr. Edwin Kessler and Mr. Kenneth Wilk and many others <br />there, for their help and for their stimulating discussions when <br />Dr. MacCready visited NSSL. <br /> <br />39 <br />
