<br />Personnel <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Dr. MacCready was Program Manager and Principal Scientist. <br />Mr. Russell O'Quinn was Field Operations Director and Chief Pilot. <br />Dr. William V. Wright was Deputy Program Director and copilot <br />on about two thirds of the flights. On other occasions the copilot <br />duties were handled by Mr. Roger Fox or Mr. Richard Lang. Flight <br />Engineer was Mr. George Buero in most cases. with Mr. E. Boutwell <br />'on the other flights. Mr. Richard Lang was dispenser operator on <br />most flights. All of the flight crew were very active on the ground in <br />aircraft maintenance and in development of the dispenser system. <br />Mr. Bernard Muehlenkamp, an engine specialist, assisted with all <br />the non-flying tasks. Mr. Glen French, of French Aircraft Co., in <br />Altus, helped with many tasks involving logistics, the aircraft, and the <br />dispenser installation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AT FTR headquarters in Long Beach, ('alifornia, many regular members <br />of the FTR staff were involved on an emergency basis in the hectic <br />organizational days of the program.
