<br />development of weather modification technology which must be pursued in <br />parallel with the technical efforts in virtually all weather modification <br />projects. Chapter V describes the components of the proposed national <br />research am development effort. Included are programs for fundamental or <br />broadly based research; environmental, legal, economic, and social aspects; <br />precipitation enhancement; hurricane amelioration; hail and other severe-storm <br />abatement; stratus and fog dissipation; and international involvement. For <br />each of these, the presently approved Federal projects and future options are <br />discussed, with priorities specified for future options, and organizational <br />responsibilities are identified. Chapter VI addresses program implementation <br />am specifies the planning, coordination, and implementation procedures and <br />responsibilities; identifies forms am methods of interagency collaboration; <br />am outlines international aspects.
