Town of Bennett Feasibility Study designed pumping rate, and annual appropriation amount for each well in the NWS and SWS are provided in Table 1. The six water supply wells in the NWS have a combined annual appropriation amount of 397 acre -feet per year (af /yr). Of the 397 of /yr, a total of 190 of /yr can be pumped from wells 4, 5, 6, and 7 (Table 1). Well 5 has historically supplied 60 of /yr, or approximately 30% of the allowable appropriation. Hence it is critical to re -drill Well 5 to maintain an adequate water supply system for Bennett. Portions of the Town of Bennett are located within the Kiowa Bijou and Lost Creek Designated Ground Water Basins as shown on Figure 3. The NWS is located within both the Kiowa Bijou Designated Basin and the Lost Creek Designated Basin. Below is a summary of the Sections of the Town of Bennett, in the NWS, which are in each Designated Basin: Township, Range, Section Designated Basin T3S, R63W, Sec 26 Kiowa Bijou T3S, R63W, Sec 27 Kiowa Bijou T3S, R63W, Sec 28 Lost Creek T3S, R63W, Sec 30 Lost Creek T3S, R63W, Sec 31 Lost Creek T3S, R63W, Sec 32 Lost Creek T3S, R63W, Sec 33 Lost Creek T3S, R63W, Sec 34 Kiowa Bijou T3S, R63W, Sec 35 Kiowa Bijou T4S, R63W, Sec 4 Lost Creek The SWS also has land located within the Kiowa Bijou Designated Basin. Specifically, the ' Sections of the SWS that are within the Designated Basin are: ' Township, Range, Section Designated Basin T4S, R63W, Sec 13 Kiowa Bijou T4S, R63W, Sec 14 Kiowa Bijou ' T4S, R63W, Sec 23 Kiowa Bijou A summary of the amount of water owned in each aquifer by Bennett is included as Table 2.
