Collins, CO 80523 <br /> <br />Re: Assessment of Potential for Pressurized Dual Water Systems in Northeastern <br />Colorado <br /> <br />Dear John, <br /> <br />Thank you for inviting me to participate in the referenced study to be sponsored by the <br />Colorado Institute for Irrigation Management at Colorado State University. <br /> <br />My participation in the study effort will include the following tasks: <br /> <br />S~e I. Task 2 I will assist in the development of the checklist rating system, <br />and will help the study team identify agricultural water suppliers to participate <br />in the sample application. Based on my twenty years of experience in water <br />rights matters in northeastern Colorado, I can direct the study team towards <br />likely project participants and can assist in developing personal contacts for the <br />study team. <br /> <br />Estimated Hours: 50 <br /> <br />Stap;e I. Task 3 I will direct the study team in the quantification of available <br />groundwater supply in the study area. The quantification will be based on the <br />State's water rights tabulation. I will assist CSU student participants in <br />interpreting the tabulated data and will advise them in the transference of <br />tabulated data to the GIS mapping effort. <br /> <br />Estimated Hours: 20 <br /> <br />S~e I. Task 5 I will assist the study team in developing consumer suzveys and <br />administering the suzveys to local municipalities, counties and water districts. I <br />will also provide input as to possible impacts to water rights ownership when <br />use changes from agricultural irrigation to dual system irrigation.
