North Platte Roundtable Meeting Minutes 01.16.08 <br />Kent: yes <br />Mike H: no <br />Sandra Knox: Yes <br />The project will get fiinded, by a majority vote of 10-3, with the following <br />amendments* <br />New budget will be included to reflect the match already received from partners. <br />Any increase of match over $10,000 in in-kind dollars to the project will be credited to <br />the basin account. <br />The members voted on the revised application. <br />Since the vote was not unanimous, the letter to Rick Brown will include a minority <br />report: <br />Rick Wyatt voted no because of concerns about: <br />Possible threat to private property rights <br />Info gathered could be used detrimentally in a lawsuit <br />Endangered species act and Wetlands act <br />Milce Allnutt voted no because: <br />He thought CHNP needed more $ from partners, the overall cost was too high, and the <br />partners aren't providing enough of a match. Too costly. <br />Milce Holnholz voted no: <br />For the same reasons as above <br />Update on pilot project: <br />Kent talked to Ray Alvarado about how this fits in with surface water modeling already <br />taking place in the basin. Discussion about whether or not the roundtable wants to <br />participate in the pilot project. It was questioned whether or not this basin has the <br />measurement capabilities in place to make the project successful. <br />Barb V will tell them we said "yes" to doing the pilot project <br />Status report on tauter Resource Model: <br />Project leaders and local landowners/ranchers went over the maps with Leonard Rice on <br />Monday and Tuesday 14t1i and 15ti' <br />There is still some work to be done, but we have a lot done from the last 2 days, if they <br />get all that digested within a short period of time, we will have a lot of info. <br />Sue Petersmann said she found some discrepancies between information Sue & Caid <br />Waldron had and what Leonard Rice had. <br />
