(RMC) is pleased to submit this revised proposal to provide
engineering services for evaluating seep prevention and/or collection alternatives for Milavec Lake.
. RMC has included a proposed scope of work and associated engineering costs for the site
investigation aitd lining alternatives evaluation for Milavec Lake.

Enclosed, please find two copies of our standard Professional Services Agreement to provide services'
as described below. ". .

Task 1 - ExistbiJ! Data Collection and Rese"voir Water Balance

. .
RMC will collect available geotechnical and hydrologic data including ~xisting boring log
information andpenonn a 'water balanc~ from existirig information to ascertain potential problem
areas of the reservoir where the majority of the leakage may be occurring. RMC will construct maps
and crossNsections based on available infunnation. Task twill provide the background infonnation
and technical basis for completing the Task 2 Field Investigation.

Task 2 - Preli",inarv Field InvestieatiOH

RMC will complete an on-site field investigation based on data gaps or deficiencies ide.nrified in Task
1; RMC estimates that the on-site investigation will include installation of approximately tour to eight
. piezometers or wen points. RMC will apply for the necessary pennits from the State Engineer's
Office for installing the piezometers and contract a drilling company to complete the piezometers.
RMC estimates that thcdriUing program for th'c preliminary field investigation will require 20 hours
of drill rig time. S~mples will be collected at select intervals for future laboratory testing as
necessary. Additional dX'illing and soil testing may be necessary after a design alternative has been
selected.

RMC wi1l also visually observe the dam embankment and adjacent areas for possible loss areas fTom

. \?
v..'
'\
.
