(RMC) is pleased to submit this revised proposal to provide <br />engineering services for evaluating seep prevention and/or collection alternatives for Milavec Lake. <br />. RMC has included a proposed scope of work and associated engineering costs for the site <br />investigation aitd lining alternatives evaluation for Milavec Lake. <br /> <br />Enclosed, please find two copies of our standard Professional Services Agreement to provide services' <br />as described below. ". . <br /> <br />Task 1 - ExistbiJ! Data Collection and Rese"voir Water Balance <br /> <br />. . <br />RMC will collect available geotechnical and hydrologic data including ~xisting boring log <br />information andpenonn a 'water balanc~ from existirig information to ascertain potential problem <br />areas of the reservoir where the majority of the leakage may be occurring. RMC will construct maps <br />and crossNsections based on available infunnation. Task twill provide the background infonnation <br />and technical basis for completing the Task 2 Field Investigation. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Preli",inarv Field InvestieatiOH <br /> <br />RMC will complete an on-site field investigation based on data gaps or deficiencies ide.nrified in Task <br />1; RMC estimates that the on-site investigation will include installation of approximately tour to eight <br />. piezometers or wen points. RMC will apply for the necessary pennits from the State Engineer's <br />Office for installing the piezometers and contract a drilling company to complete the piezometers. <br />RMC estimates that thcdriUing program for th'c preliminary field investigation will require 20 hours <br />of drill rig time. S~mples will be collected at select intervals for future laboratory testing as <br />necessary.
