The water stored in this vessel is used to aU2:ment the <br />Amity Mutual Irri2:ation Company's direct now decrees and used to irri2:ate approximatelv <br />34.682 acres of fannland. The reservoir is currentlv operatin2: on a stora2:e restriction order <br />June 22. 1999 bv the Colorado State En2:ineers Office at 2:a2:e hei2:ht 23.5 feet. There is seepa2:e <br />and a sand boil at the location of the dam. The Amity hired URS to do an Evaluation and <br />Conceptual Desi2:n (a COpy of which is enclosl~d). It appears from this evaluation that the dam <br />can be rehabilitated bv relinin2: the outlet pipes. replacin2: the outlet 2:ates and demolishin2: and <br />reconstruction of the downstream stillin2: basin and installin2: a filter toe drain. See enclosed <br />COpy of evaluation for full details. <br />Water Right: 1150 CFS. Average water diverted per year: 53.460 * acre-feet. <br /> <br />*based on 10 year average diversion for Great Plains Reservoirs.
