<br />Permitting <br /> <br />The Bureau of Reclamation owns the property where the substation is located, and <br />has a right -of-way where the current power line is located. Environmental studies <br />will be conducted by Western Area Power Administration before work <br />commences. <br /> <br />Institutional Considerations <br /> <br />Entities that are involved in the design, construction and financing of the project <br />include: <br /> <br />Silt Water Conservancy District; financing and project management. <br /> <br />Bureau of Reclamation; financing a portion of the engineering costs. <br /> <br />Western Area Power Administration; design, engineering, construction <br />management, commissioning and construction of the transformer. <br /> <br />Financial Analysis <br /> <br />Several entities will be involved in financing the estimated total project cost of <br />$540,100. The Silt Water Conservancy District is applying for a loan from CWCB <br />in the amount of $486,000 for the project. The Bureau of Reclamation is providing <br />$15,000 for engineering costs.
