Operation of Lake Powell
and Lake Mead
D. Lower Ele~~ation Balancing Tier
In Water Years when the projected January 1 Lake Powell elevation is below
3,525 feet, the Secretary shall balance the contents of Lake Mead and Lake
Powell, but shall release not more than 9.5 maf and not less than 7.0 maf from
Lake Powell in the Water Year.
