The dam is located on the south and east sides of the reservoir wi~h the ou#let ~oca~ed on the south side. A po~ion of the dam is a~so the roadway embankmenf for WCR l4. Both the Ange~ Lake outlet conduit and spil~way conduits are in poor condifion, and need repa~rlreptacement ~o avoid future SE~ storage restriction. The outlet is an ~S-inch clay pipe which has ~eached its usable life span, and the service spillway conduit is an ~$-inch clay pipe that is in very poor condition. The p~opased praject will address deficiencies to meef the curren~ standards and requiremen~s of the SE4 wi~h full repiacement of the outlet works and service spillway. Work will inc~ude breaching the dam embankment and removing the exis~in outlet works; replacing fhe existin autlet w~~h 34-inch dia. concre~e ~ e• g g p p, contrai structures includ~ng the intake structure w~th gate, gate tower ~vith control gate, and energy dissipa~ion autlet st~ucture; lns~allation of a toe dra~n ~o intercep~ seepage; cons~ruction of a service spillway incorporated into the oufle~ wo~ks to pass the 10D-year storm; and placement of riprap and beddin on the ups~~eam face of ~he dam in fhe breach area and at the ener g gy dissipation structure.
