<br />The Black D~ke Pipeiine ~ompany is a non-profit corporation es~ablished in the State of Colorado in
<br />~007. The Company manages the B~ack D~ke Ditch for the nine members that own water r~ghts and
<br />land served by ~he ditch. The diversion point is ~ocafed on McElmo Creek west of the Corte~. The
<br />ditch is app~oxima~ely four ~4} miles long and carries approxima~ely 1.75 cfs. The proposed ditch
<br />pipeline projec~ wtl~ tns~al! nevu PVC piping from 21-inch to ~ 5-inch pipe along with metered delivery
<br />po~nts at member-owned lands. NRCS has prov~ded planning and design services, houvever F~ is the
<br />fntent of the borrower to hire Harward Irrigation Systems to p~ovide f nal design and cons~ruct~on
<br />services. CWCB fund~ng will cons~st of an initiai ioan of $595,0~~ that w~i~ be ~educed by an NRCS
<br />Co~orado River Basin Salinity Control Program g~ant of $39~,000 foilow~ng project completion. The
<br />remaining $2~1,~0~ wi~~ become a 30-year CWCB Loan.
