<br />1 impair or diminish any water right which has become vested. <br />2 (2) To the extent that there exists a right to make a ' <br />3 succcssion of uses of foreign, nontributary, SALVAGED, or <br />4 other developed water, such right is personal to the developer <br />5 or his successors, lessees, contractees, or assigns. Such <br />6 water, when released from the dominion of the user, becomes a <br />7 part of the natural surface stream where released, subject to <br />8 water rights on such stream in the order of their priority, <br />9 ,but nothing in this subsection (2) shall affect the rights of <br />10 the developer or his successors or assigns with respect to <br />11 such foreign, nontributary, SALVAGEDt or developed water, nor <br />12 shall dominion over such water be lost to the owner or user <br />13 thereof by reason of use of a natural water course in the <br />14 process of carrying such water to the place of its use or <br />15 successive use. <br />16 SECTION 4. Effective date. This act shall take effect <br />17 July 1, 1984. <br />18 SECTION S. Safety clause. The general assembly hereby <br />19 findst determines, and declares that this act is necessary <br />20 for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />21 and safety. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br />161 <br />
