Non-Reimbursable .Application - CW'CB Construction Fund <br />Farm Rr~iseJ Auguu 20M <br />5. Explain why you arc reyucsting a grant, instead of a loan. (the Construction Fund exists primarily to <br />provide low interest loans for the construction or rehabilitation of raw water projects. Non- <br />reimbursable investments are approved only when the project or study is of statewide interest and <br />benefits a wide range of people and organisations, and:'or a large geographical area . <br />-phis is a study of Statewide interest benefiting al! the citizens of the State that rely in whole <br />or in part on water diverted t?om the Colorado River. The recent drougitl conditions and <br />increasing demands have demonstrated that a curtailment of uses of Colorado River water is <br />possible. The State oCColorado needs to participate and cost share in certain projects that <br />will au_ment the u~atcr supplies of the Colorado River System in order to help protect <br />Colorado's cornpact apportionments. <br />List the names and addresses of any technical or legal consultants retained to represent the applicant or <br />to conduct investigations for the proposed project or study, <br />Name Address 3 Phone Nurnbcr <br />~ List any feasibility study or scope of work that has been completed or is now in prowess for the <br />proposed project or study.
