Section 9 <br />Evaluation Framework <br />The following observations can be made for the South <br />Platte Basin: <br />For the group as a whole, the highest weighted <br />objectives are Meet Municipal & Industrial Demands, <br />Optimize Existing Water Supplies, and Meet <br />Agricultural Demands, which vary between 15 and <br />19 percent. The lowest weighted objectives are <br />Enhance Recreational Opportunities at 6 percent and <br />Protect Cultural Values at 7 percent. <br />The agricultural interest average weights (when <br />compared against the overall group averages) are <br />highest for objectives such as Meet Agricultural <br />Demands, Optimize Existing & Future Supplies, and <br />Promote Cost Effectiveness; while they are lowest for <br />Provide for Environmental Enhancement; and about <br />average for Meet Municipal & Industrial Demands, <br />Enhance Recreational Opportunities, Protect Cultural <br />Values, and Provide for Operational Flexibility. <br />The municipal interest group average weights (when <br />compared against the overall group averages) are <br />highest for objectives such as Meet Municipal & <br />Industrial Demands and Provide for Operational <br />Flexibility; while they are lowest for Meet Agricultural <br />Demands and Provide for Cultural Values; and they <br />are about average for Optimize Existing & Future <br />Supplies, Enhance Recreational Opportunities, and <br />Promote Cost Effectiveness. <br />4.
