Meetings will be scheduled during normal business hours
from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. in public meeting facilities. Meetings will be publicized through
e-mails to the SWSI database and e-mail to relevant stakeholders. Paid notices of the
meetings in local media will not be undertaken.
BRT Interface
The results of the TRTs will be presented to the BRTs at the end of the 12- to 24-month
process. This will be BRT 6.
1177 Interbasin Compact Interface
The activities of SWSI TRTs and the HB 1177 Interbasin Compact Legislation will be
closely coordinated to prevent duplication of activities and to be efficient with
resources and be cost effective. It is expected that SWSI TRTs and HB 1177 activities
can occur simultaneously in an efficient and complementary manner. HB 1177
outlines activities for both a 25-member Interbasin Compact (IBC) Committee and
Interbasin Compact Basin Roundtables (ICBRT). Many of HB 117Ts preliminary
activities focus on establishing logistics and operating procedures, followed by more
detailed negotiations. Beginning in July 2005, SWSI will be developing additional
technical information that can then be provided to the HB 1177 IBC Committee and
the ICBRTs. It is noted that the Compact Committee Charter must be developed no
later than July 2006 and that negotiations between ICBRTs cannot begin until the
Charter is complete.
`~ ~
\\DENSVR01\SWSI\PHASE 2 WORK PLAN\SWSI PHASE 2 SOW 6-10-OS.DOC
