The generalformat of the meetings will therefore be asfollows:

. Each of the House and Senate meetings will be kicked off with a general
introduction by Tom Browning, including a short description of the Chatfield
Reservoir Reallocation Project. Tom will ask each person to introduce
themselves and who they represent.
. The meeting with the USACE HQ professionals staff will be led by Tom
Browning and Tracy Bouvette.
. As with all of the meetings, we ask people to listen closely to what is being said.
This is very important particularly in the meeting with the Corps. We are going
there with questions, and we hope to learn from the group they have assembled
to help us.
. In meetings with the Senate and House delegation professional staff, Tom will
open up as noted above and will turn it over to one of the participants (noted on
the meetings' schedule) to (1) thank the professional staff for their members
leadership and support on Chatfield appropriations and authorization requests,
(2) specifically thank them for their strong support in securing $354,000 in
FY07 funding through the FY07 Continuing Resolution and Corps of
Engineers FY07 Work Plan and (3) urge them to continue their efforts to
secure our request for $400,000 in FY08 Appropriations for completion of the
FR/EIS.
. The meetings with the House and Senate delegation staffs is to thank themfor
past and current help (as noted above) and to inform them about issues that we
believe may be emerging. It is important that they understand that after the
FR/EIS is funded and completed that there will be other issues that need to be
addressed over the next several years before we achieve wet water in Chatfield.

Schedule:

Sunday, June 17,2007

6:30 p.m.

Chatfield Reservoir Reallocation Coalition CONFIRMED
Meet in Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill Hotel lobby.
400 New Jersey Avenue, NW
(We will walk to Bistro Bis for dinner.)
Dress. business casual

7:00 p.m.

Dinner (The Greenway Foundation will host.)
Bistro Bis
15 E Street, NW
(202) 661-2701

A2enda:
.
