. Note expected request for FY09 Energy and Water Development Bill

. Discuss current Corps issues:
o Seeking reduced or zero cost for storage space.
o O&M funding may be used to pay Corps staff for their
involvement in environmental and recreational mitigation.
o Seismic issues:
· May need approximately $100,000 in federal funding
for SSR Phase II work.
· Concerned about Section 1203 WRDA 1986 that
requires that costs incurred in modifications for dam
safety assurance shall be recovered.
. Urge passage ofWRDA.
