Jerke: Officer team and IBCC to meet with Yampa in Walden on September 26; <br />needs for river; prognostications for consumptive and non-consumptive uses; <br />what does the future hold for the rest of the century; get to lalow each other. <br />Jerke: CA following road trip: Oct 3-5; Jerke will send notice to those interested <br />re: hotel, planes, etc. Will make sure everyone is informed for anyone interested; <br />key idea is that we will be trying to figure out how these folks have made things <br />work for Southern Metro Areas of GA. Questions. <br />Jerke: November 13: November meeting will be with Metro and AK in Castle <br />Rock; the morning will focus on transbasin projects and fiiture water planning and <br />the afternoon will focus on ag and urban partnerships. <br />State's Technical Assistance Team presents draft results on Needs <br />Assessment Task Orders and discuss next steps. Huge competition for CBT shares... additional storage or <br />jr water rights <br />Analysis of unappropriated water <br />1.4 million acre feet amlually; import 400,000 ac ft per year; 4 nullion acre feet are used <br />and diverted...reuse; this does not include ground water; probably 7200 high capacity <br />wells; of those wells, very few not being pumped because of aug water; <br />Nevertheless, pump SOOOacftannually; 1 million irrigated land; ...now 900,000 <br />Population...250,000 people to 2.5 million; projected population...increase to 1.1 million; <br />4.5 million <br />
