<br />Eagle River Water & Sanitation District CWCB 'Water Conservation Gtant Application <br />Page 12 of 17 <br /> <br />repair, dissemination of information regarding water use efficiency measures, rate <br />structllres and billings systems, regulatory :measures, and incentives including rebates to <br />encourage water conservation. <br /> <br />The following subtasks are included: <br />· Form a Water Conservation Advisory Committee (Committee); <br />· Develop Water Conservation Goals and doct1ll1ent the Goal Development <br />Process; <br />· Identify Conservation Measures and Programs; <br />· Develop and Define Screening Criteria; and <br />· Solicit Committee Input on Goals, Measmes and Programs. <br /> <br />Water Conservation Advisory Committee <br /> <br />The Water Conservation Advisory Committee will assist in developing and e.valuating <br />potential conservation activities. In addition to the Districtrs Board of Directors, <br />assistance will likely be solicited from, the Town of Vail, EagleCo'unty, the Eagle River <br />Watershed Council, and others in the community "\vho have an interest in this project. <br /> <br />Task Responsibilities: <br /> <br />District <br />Develop a list of prospective Committee members and request their participation. Work <br />with I-Iydrosphere to develop lists of existing and potential water conservation goals, <br />screening criteria, m.easures and programs. Organize and manage a Committee meeting <br />to solicit input on goals, criteria, measures and programs. Review draft ,york products <br />and provide feedback to Hydrosphere. <br /> <br />Hydrosphere <br />Provide suggestions to the .District regarding prospective members for the Water <br />Conservation Advisory Committee~ Help the District develop preliminary lists of \vater <br />conservation goals, screening criteria,m,easures, and programs. Develop text, tables, and <br />figures and com,plete applicable worksheets for District and Committee review. <br />.Participate in meeting with the District and Committee. Revise preliminary goals, <br />screening criteria, measures and programs in response. <br /> <br />Task Deliverables: <br />· Formation of Water Conservation Advisory Committee; and <br />· Draft "Conservation Goalsu and "Potential Conservation Measures and Programs" <br />sections of the Water Conservation Plan which have been revised in response to <br />Committee input. <br /> <br />Task 5: Evaluate and Select Conservation Measures and Programs - This task <br />involves both an initial screening of conservation activities and an in-depth evaluation of <br />remaining measures and programs. Remaining conservation activities will be thoroughly <br />evaluated based upon estimated water savings~ applicability to the District's system and <br />service population, implementation costs, staff time for implementation, and a variety of <br />other selection criteria (to be developed).
